NICE TO MEET YOU!

My name is Savannah. I'm 25 years old. I have been married to my husband Drew for over five years now. Six months into marriage we rescued our four legged child, Leia (also answers to Princess). Fast forward a few years to 2020. We got pregnant with twins, bought a house, I graduated with my masters of social work, went into preterm labor, spent five weeks in a hospital during a global pandemic, gave birth at 31 weeks, endured a NICU stay, and was diagnosed with postpartum depression following the twins' traumatic birth. I recently lost my job and we are still trying to figure out what our next steps are. I feel led to open up and share our story so that others in similar situations feel validated and less alone. If there is anything that would have made this past year easier on myself, it would be feeling less alone. I desire to create a space for a community of twin moms and NICU moms to feel supported, heard, and uplifted. So if we have anything in common, lets be friends!
